Speaking during the 2017 Ushirika Day celebrations at Ihura Stadium in the county, wa Iria lauded the residents for embracing a culture of saving through co-operatives.
The Governor disclosed that active Saccos which are engaged in diverse economic activities that benefit its members have increased from 144 in 2012 to 374 in 2017.
