Baringo journalists asked to invest in Saccos

Boresha Sacco CEO Jacob Mengich has urged journalists in Baringo to join Saccos and utilize the cooperatives’ pocket-friendly access to credit and investment products and services.

“While you educate the public about the benefits of a saving culture and the inclusive nature of cooperatives, I encourage you to join Saccos and take advantage of their products,” he advised.

Speaking during the launch of the newly formed Baringo Journalists Association (BJA) in Kabarnet on Friday, Mengich expressed Boresha Sacco’s commitment to establishing a collaborative relationship with the newly formed association.

He also expressed gratitude to the media for their significant role in informing, educating, and sharing information about Saccos’ products and programmes.

“We highly appreciate the media industry’s role in our growth. They have been invaluable partners, especially those involved in business reporting, in the socio-economic development of communities,” he acknowledged.

Dignitaries in attendance included Baringo Governor Benjamin Cheboi and Woman Representative Florence Jematiah.
