Defaulters put on notice as CRB law takes effect

Sacco members have been urged to repay loans in good time to enable societies to boost their capital.
Speaking during Mafanikio Sacco Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at Baptist High School Hall in Mombasa town recently, KUSCCO Director in charge of Coast and North Eastern Regions, Alfred Mlolwa warned that defaulting will not be allowed to continue by the Kenya Cooperative Movement.
Mlolwa said names of loan defaulters will be sent to Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) and defaulters will be banned from taking loans from their respective Saccos in future. Mulolwa urged Saccos in Coast region to embrace Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) system to enhance efficiency.
The KUSCCO Director who is also Qwetu Sacco Chairman in Taita Taveta County, urged members to remain united and patronise their respective Saccos,
