Youths in Kenya have been advised to join Sacco movements and invest wisely, a phenomenon which is transforming the lives of many across the globe.
Urithi Premier Sacco Chairman, Pius Thuku said many people have bridged the challenge of accessing capital by putting the little they have in a Sacco and then taking a loan and investing wisely.
“We would like to remind the youth who at times might feel like they don’t have enough to save to believe in the power of savings and investments despite the little earnings,” Thuku said.
He cautioned the youth against borrowing and spending the money in luxury which do not have a return adding that in this generation, youth take loans from banks and other lending institutions to buy luxurious items.
In a good will message to members during the Ushirika Day celebrations, Thuku advised Kenyans to learn to save their money where they cannot easily access with a click of a button like Mpesa and bank account
