Govt keen on boosting key economic pillars, PS Omollo says

The Principal Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Raymond Omollo, has assured Kenyans that the government is focused on strengthening its five key economic pillars.

He said that it is training its focus to accelerate and sustain inclusive growth, create opportunities for decent jobs, reduce poverty and income inequality and ensure that we create a healthy and food-secure society in which Kenyans have access to affordable and decent housing.

Omollo noted that the government was working closely with county governments to ensure affordable healthcare services are accessible to everyone.

“As we go about our business, let’s focus on the things that will transform our lives as a country and community at the same time,” he said.

The PS urged farmers to take advantage of the ongoing rains to grow various crops to boost their income and enhance food security.

He further urged parents to monitor their children as they continue with their holiday.
