Imarika Sacco assets grew by 31 per cent

Imarika Sacco’s total assets grew by 31 per cent last year compared to 19 per cent in 2015.
Imarika Sacco Board Chairman, Renson Ndoro speaking during the Sacco’s Annual Delegates Meeting (ADM) at Travellers Beach Hotel, Mombasa County urged members to increase monthly deposits to enable the society provide more loansat affordable repayment rates.
“The Society’s loan portfolio and members’ deposits increased by 35 per cent and 23 per cent respectively,” he said.
Addressing the ADM, the CEO, Daniel Masha, said the Sacco was putting up a new office complex in Kilifi at a cost of Sh200 million.
Imarika Sacco has a presence in Malindi, Mariakani, Mtwapa, Garsen, Ukunda and Kilifi where its head offices issituated.
Mary Mungai, the Commissioner for Co-operative Development who was the Chief Guest encouraged Imarika Sacco members to patronize the society’s products,
