AFC Leopards Sacco has partnered with an insurance company to offer health cover to members.
The Sacco Chairman Maurice Osundwa said the health cover of Sh200, 000 will also cover spouses and children.
“This will bring an end to frequent fundraising for our members,” Osundwa noted.
Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa was present during the signing of the partnership.
Osundwa said the Sacco objective is to uplift members’ economic well-being.
AFC Leopards has millions of soccer fans.
“If fans could attend the matches in their thousands the club will be able to collect good money,” said Dan Chumba, a soccer fan in Garissa County.
The club is the second in the country to start a Sacco after Gor Mahia.
