Former Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has urged youths in Nakuru County to join Cooperative societies to empower themselves and llive better lives.
“We urge our youths to join cooperative societies for purposes of investment for a better future,” said
the governor.

hundreds of cooperative officials and members, Kinyanjui said by joining and regularly saving in
cooperative societies, youths can transform their lives from dependency to self-sufficiency.

societies, they can buy land and construct houses in line with the government’s core values in the Big Four Agenda.
“The cost of land has increased due to high demand and through joining Cooperatives, youth can buy
and own their own land,” said the governor.
