Kenya National Police DT SACCO Bungoma branch elects new officials

Antony Kering being celebrated after being elected to lead the Kenya National Police DT SACCO Bungoma branch.

The Kenya National Police DT SACCO Bungoma zone finally has new officials after the branch held elections recently after several postponements.

In the elections held at Bungoma Police Station with 383 members, Antony Kering garnered 103 votes, closely followed by Zebedee Otee with 102 votes while Victor Kiprotich got 76 votes and Mary Odhiambo garnered 34 votes.

“Police SACCO belongs to you members and you are the ones who are going to make this  SACCO work and one of the important things you have done today is putting the right leadership in place,” the SACCO National CEO Solomon Atsiaya said while congratulating the winners.

He further disclosed that the SACCO is one of the best in the country in terms of services, savings and provision of loans to bonafide members.

While giving his victory speech, Kering promised to ensure that the members are united and that they get appropriate dividends each year.

“I lack words to thank you members. I will be available for you any time you need me, and now that I am in the office full time. Let’s interact,” he said.

Atsiaya noted that the SACCO is now open to every citizen willing to join.

Kenya National Police DT SACCO was founded with a membership of only 690 and has grown to over 72,000 members currently.
