Mafanikio Sacco, formerly Mombasa Teachers Sacco Ltd has opened a new branch in Ukunda town, Kwale County.
The Ukunda branch situated at Arusha Plaza along the Likoni- Lunga Lunga road is meant not only to bring services closer to the residents of the county, but also to serve local residents more conveniently.
Initially, residents of the county travelled long distances to Mombasa town to access Mafanikio Sacco services. However, with the opening of the branch the services have now been brought to their doorsteps.
The branch opened its doors to members of the public in September last year and currently has over 200 members.
Speaking during the official launch of the branch in Ukunda town, the Sacco Chairman, Jonah Mutuku, urged residents to join the Sacco in large numbers, save and later secure loans to accomplish development projects.
“You can open an account with as little as Sh500,” he explained, adding that through Lipa Na M-Pesa Number 854846 mobile banking you can save your money from every corner of the country.
