Nayopo Sacco has initiated a mass recruitment of members in Naivasha sub-county and its environs.
Speaking during the Sacco’s Education Day held at AIC Technical Institute in Naivasha town, Chairman Simon Njuguna said that the Sacco provides affordable services and loan products which can assist members to fulfill their financial obligations.
“The mass recruitment of members is one of the major plans by the Sacco to strengthen our members’ financial standing and spread awareness on the variety of services we offer,” he said.
Njuguna said that the target members were staff of private primary and secondary schools, Sunshine Rehabilitation Centre and Pastors of area AIC churches among others.
“Our Sacco has existed since 1994 and many of our members have benefited from our financial services,” he added.
He thanked the founding members, including Rev. Simon Kinyanjui, for their continuous support to which has enabled the Sacco to attain its many milestones.
Cooperative Officer in charge of Gilgil and Naivasha sub-counties, Hanifa Wabomba, encouraged the Sacco to continue adhering to regulations to ensure their continuous growth.
She thanked Saccos in the region for embedding transparency in their operations.
Wabomba encouraged more residents to join Saccos to improve their financial status and expand their investment portfolios.
Nayopo Sacco was awarded as the Second Best Managed Small-Size Sacco in Nakuru County during the 2023 Ushirika Day celebrations.
