Retiring Bishop lauded for founding Church-based Sacco in Nakuru

ACK Nakuru Diocese members have lauded retiring Bishop Dr. Joseph Muchai for founding the ACK Imani Talent Sacco which has boosted their economic status by providing financial solutions.

Speaking in his office, Sacco Manager Franklin Mwirigi said that Dr. Muchai’s desire was to ensure that all members from all churches in the Diocese benefit from the Sacco’s products and services to uplift their living standards.

In an event held at the Rift Valley Sports Club on Sunday, ten Bishops from across the country led by ACK Provincial Secretary Prof. Joseph Galgalo celebrated the entrepreneurial Bishop who in addition to preaching the Gospel, cared about the financial status of congregants.

“We thank Bishop Dr. Joseph Muchai for your entrepreneurial skills. For years now, we have seen the Sacco’s impact on members’ achievements,” Prof. Galgalo said.

The Sacco was awarded the Best Managed Sacco in Nakuru County during this year’s Ushirika Day celebrations on July 1 at Kunste Hotel.
