Savings and Credit Cooperative Society members in Kwale County have been urged to embrace LIPA na M-PESA services to enhance efficiency.
Safaricom Company Limited official in charge of South Coast Region, Kelvin Songa said that the LIPA na M-PESA services are efficient. “In Kenya, the ICT Sector has continued to grow by leaps and bounds, with the telecommunications sub-sector leading the pack”, he said.
Songa advised the business community in the region who include among others, Tuk Tuk, Taxis, Matatu and Motorbikes operators to come on board and embrace LIPA na M-PESA services for effective and efficient operations of their undertakings.
“The LIPA na M-PESA services are free of charge”, he said.
At the same time, he said that transfer of money from the Pay-bill to Sacco members and other business people to their bank accounts is also free of charge.
