Shoppers Sacco opens Nairobi branch FOSA

Shoppers Sacco, formerly Naku Sacco has started the journey to open branches across the country by opening the first Front Office Service Activity (FOSA) in Nairobi, along Tom Mboya Street. Co-operative Development, Principal Secretary, Ali Noor Ismail, presided over ceremony recently.
Speaking during the event, the PS said Shoppers Sacco has successfully penetrated the market and gained acceptance in the highly competitive sector.
He said some members have taken loans of up to Sh8 million and have invested well, thus giving them opportunity to own matatus, good houses and plots courtesy of Shoppers Sacco.
“My office will not tire from working with Shoppers Sacco, we are happy that you are one of the licensed Saccos and you give your services with diligence,” Mr Ismail, who was accompanied by representative of Commissioner for Co-operative Development said.
Shoppers Sacco Chairman, Wilfred Aima said the milestone of opening Shoppers Sacco Nairobi CBD branch started in 2015. He said the office will be of great help to its clients since the Sacco opened a common bond recently.
Chief Executive Officer, Muchira Njagi said over the last two years, the adoption of various forms of innovation has positively influenced the content and quality of operations.
The function was also attended by the County Co-operative Director Nairobi, Mrs Dolphine Aremo among other delegates.
