Acumen Equities Limited launched its new logo to keep up with current business and market trends which will lead to achievement of vision of the company
The logo is now the face of the company and connects with all current and future customers. It also attracts local and international business.
Julius N Ngamate, Chief Executive Officer said the new logo which has been registered as a trade mark was designed to reflect the growth, the drive for innovation and high quality service. The old logo had been imitated by many other players in the same industry.
“It also denotes the company’s vision to be the solution provider of choice of our customers and partners. We want to stay ahead of the trends and attract the next generation property developers,” Ngamate said.
Speaking during the launch in Ongata Rongai which was attended by Kajiado County Deputy Governor Martin Moshisho, Kajiado North MP Joseph Manje, County Executive Members Hamilton Parseina (Lands) and Alvin Kimani (Co-operatives), Ngamate said the company has also revamped its website and social media pages. This has enabled it to attract new customers from far and wide.
The DG said the county has put up frameworks to attract more investors in the county. He commended the property company for maintaining its professionalism for years.
Manje said the national government will continue to work closely with such companies in improving livelihood of investors.
The company has 6 branches, with 35 permanent employees in the following towns; Ongata Rongai, Kawangware, Ngong, Donholm, Kitengela and Mombasa. We are serving over 500 landlords and accumulated tenant population of over 12,000 across its branches majority of who are in Ongata Rongai. It has been in the field for over 22 years which has enabled it perfect the services in their line of business.
The company responsibilities are as follows:-To collect all rent including any arrears and to ensure the tenant pays utility bills monthly, regular inspection of the property and reporting on the same to the landlord, recommend to the landlord any necessary improvement and repairs to the property, to attend to the tenant’s complaints relating to the property, to ensure that the rental property is re-let promptly whenever it falls vacant, to retain all the rental deposit paid by tenant, to refund to the tenant the paid rental deposit less any expenses spent as a result of damages that occurred during the occupancy and to review the rents from time to time in liaison and with the consent of the landlord and to ensure the rent payable is within the market level.
Other duties is to remit all collected rent less commission on the agreed date to the landlord and to interview new tenants and to take personal details with a view to ensure that they will not engage themselves in immoral and criminal activities or other habits that are inconsistent with peaceful co-existence with other neighbors.
The Company is now focusing on its existing clients by building strong relationships because its growth in business originated from them.
The CEO said in 2020 they will increase customer base and continue improving service delivery .It will also focus on business networking with professionals and other business people because they are also a source of business to the company.

The company has signed MOU’ with Faulu, Smep, Unaitas, Premier Credit Platinum Credit, Roots Credit for services that has improved its efficiency.
It has supported Acumen Sacco Ltd whose idea of formation came from housing company. It has attracted over 1,500 members and transformed their lives economically. It has also helped in the registration of Acumen Housing Co-operative society Ltd that has helped the members to acquire pieces of land in Kajiado County.
The company has also promoted Romik Travels Limited and Crib Movers to meet the travel needs of the customers and to move those shifting from one place to the other.
