This comes as a relief to many people especially in remote areas with no banking services. It will also create employment for many business people.
The move is aligned with the Saccos objective of offering quality services to communities in an effective and efficient way.
An elite Sacco, Daima has had a distinguished service delivery to society that has earned it a place among well-managed Co-operatives in the country.
Owing to prudence leadership and management, the Sacco has been winning accolades in Embu Co-operatives adjudication done during Ushirika Day celebration.
The Sacco which is based in Manyatta but with seven branches across the county has consistently been scaling its service delivery to members.
As a result it has stood a well established financial institution with a distinguished reputation among Co-operators in Embu County.
It was ranked the best Sacco with the Lowest Claims during Embu Ushirika Day celebrations.

In its commitment to enhance better services to members, Daima Sacco has registered with Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
Speaking to Sacco Review, the Chief Executive Officer, Elijah Njeru called on members to continue patronizing Saccos products and services that are well thought to better their economic welfare.
Njeru also noted emerging trend in sharing credit information will greatly update the management about their members’ accounts status before loans are advanced to them in order to deal with the defaulters’ menace.
He said the registration with CRB will enable them follow up on loan defaulters. He urged members with non-performing loans to clean up their books as soon as possible as this would affect their credit rating in the entire financial market.
“It will never be business as usual after CRB takes over, members must understand that they have an obligation once they obtain loans. Loan defaulters have derailed the growth plan of many Saccos, hence the need to deal with this problem once and for all,” said Njeru.
The Sacco boss asked members who are dutifully repaying their loans not to worry as CRBs are only interested in those with a bad credit history.
According to the CEO, the Sacco which has for years been rated the best managed Sacco in Embu, is poised for greater achievements in future that will see its members kiss goodbye to poverty.
He said the Sacco has remained abreast with technological advancement and other social changes to serve its members well.
