- Elburgon housing project adds modern homes in Molo
- Development includes several facilities for residents
- Project forms part of the government’s wider BETA rollout
The completed Elburgon Affordable Housing Project in Molo Constituency, Nakuru County, is among the projects being highlighted under the government’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
According to Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo, four years into the implementation of BETA, several of its flagship projects have been completed and are helping to lay the foundation for the next phase of Kenya’s development, beyond Vision 2030.
The Elburgon housing project is one of the investments aimed at expanding access to quality and dignified housing for Kenyans. The development consists of 220 modern homes spread across nine G+4 blocks. The housing units include studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom homes, providing different options to meet the needs of various households.
The project also includes several facilities designed to support residents and create a functional residential community. These facilities include a borehole and underground water storage, which will support access to water within the development. The project also has security lighting to improve safety around the residential area. Green spaces have also been provided as part of the development, alongside paved parking areas for residents.

Omollo said the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration plays a role in supporting local coordination, community safety and orderly settlement. According to him, these efforts help create a stable environment that is necessary for social and economic growth.
The completion of the Elburgon Affordable Housing Project comes as the government continues to implement BETA projects across the country. The development is expected to provide modern housing while supporting the creation of an organised and sustainable residential community in Molo Constituency.
The project reflects the government’s focus on improving housing access and creating conditions that can support socio-economic development.
