- ACCOSCA seeks stronger cooperative partnerships with Botswana
- Botswana officials held talks with ACCOSCA leaders in Nairobi
- The engagement targets financial inclusion and sustainable cooperative growth
The African Confederation of Co-operative Savings and Credit Associations (ACCOSCA) is seeking to deepen its partnership with Botswana as part of efforts to strengthen cooperative development and financial inclusion across Africa.
The development followed a courtesy visit by Botswana’s High Commissioner to Kenya, Ambassador Dr Andrew Onalenna Sesinyi, to the ACCOSCA Academy in Nairobi on September 23, 2026.
The high-level engagement with the ACCOSCA Head of Mission focused on strengthening institutional collaboration, bilateral cooperation and shared priorities for the sustainable growth and transformation of Africa’s cooperative movement.
Ambassador Sesinyi was accompanied by Ms Shale Kgopodiso Mosinki, Minister Counsellor at the Botswana High Commission in Kenya.

ACCOSCA said it remains committed to expanding engagement with diplomatic missions and strategic development partners across Africa and beyond.
The organisation said such partnerships are aimed at advancing financial inclusion, strengthening cooperative development and promoting inclusive economic growth across the continent.
The engagement also comes as African cooperative institutions continue to explore stronger regional and international partnerships to support the growth and sustainability of the cooperative movement.
