Boresha Sacco trains members on products, entrepreneurship

Boresha Sacco members have a reason to smile following the management’s educational cum interactive meetings aimed at keeping them a breast with the Sacco’s new products and services and the emerging trends in the Cooperative movement.
The members lauded the Sacco for organizing the meetings saying they served as an eye opener. They said they were now able to choose right products and services offered at the financial institution to improve their living standards.
Mr Joseph Rotich, a teacher at a Nakuru school said Boresha Sacco has empowered its members with affordable loans portfolio to enable them to establish business ventures and even educate their children.
He joined Boresha Sacco in 2003 due to its excellent service delivery and affordable financial services, he noted. “I borrowed the first loan of Sh500,000 and used it to purchase a plot and developed it. Currently I own my own plot and a palatial home,” he said.
Mr Rotich called for more educational meetings to sensitise members on new technologies such as M-Boresha Mobile Service Technology where members can transact their financial services at their door steps. He said this service has continued to save the members’ time and money.
Mr Emmanuel Songol, another member, thanked Boresha Sacco management for rebranding the Sacco so that all members of the local community are brought on board.
