The Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) has announced that the 2025 Central Kenya National Show will take place from 10th to 13th September at Kabiruini Show ground in Nyeri County.

This year’s premier agricultural and trade exhibition will run under the theme “Promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth”, highlighting innovation, sustainability, and resilience as drivers of economic transformation.

The annual show, a flagship event for the region’s agribusiness calendar, is expected to attract more than 150 exhibitors from across Kenya’s agricultural, manufacturing, housing, banking, hospitality, and education sectors, as well as public and private institutions.

According to the organizers, the event will be a strategic platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and showcasing cutting-edge solutions that are shaping the country’s future.

Speaking during a preparedness inspection at Kabiruini, Patrick Kanunga Munuhe, the Chairman of the Central Kenya National ASK Show, said the 2025 edition will put special emphasis on climate-smart agricultural practices to address the growing impacts of climate change on food security.

“Farmers today need practical, sustainable solutions that not only boost productivity but also safeguard the environment. This show will demonstrate the latest innovations in water management, renewable energy use in farming, and climate-resilient crops,” Munuhe noted.

This year’s show promises a vibrant mix of live demonstrations, expert-led workshops, and hands-on training sessions for farmers, students, and entrepreneurs. Attendees will discover new technologies in mechanization, irrigation, and value addition, as well as financing options for agribusiness growth.

From modern greenhouse setups and smart irrigation systems to agritech software and innovative post-harvest solutions, exhibitors will present products and services designed to transform agricultural productivity and market access.

The event will also provide an opportunity for strategic networking between industry players, policymakers, investors, and small-scale farmers, with the aim of building partnerships that can strengthen Central Kenya’s economic landscape.

The organizers have encouraged early registration for exhibitors ahead of the 9th September deadline.
Tickets can be purchased online via www.ask.co.ke or by contacting the Nyeri ASK branch through nycri@ask.co.ke.

ASK officials say the Central Kenya National Show is more than just an exhibition, it is an economic catalyst.

By bringing together technology providers, agricultural experts, and traders under one roof, the event aims to accelerate the adoption of climate-smart practices, improve market linkages, and enhance competitiveness in the agricultural sector.

With just under a month to go, preparations at Kabiruini Showground are in high gear, and the organisers promise a well-curated event that will offer both learning and business opportunities for all participants.

“This is the place where innovation meets opportunity,” Munuhe said. “We invite farmers, entrepreneurs, students, and all stakeholders to come and be part of shaping the future of agriculture and trade in Kenya.”
