Malindi Sub-County Cooperative Officer Felister Moraa has revealed that the county government of Kilifi intends to revive 20 dormant cooperatives this financial year.
She said the government’s move was necessitated by the need to enable residents join cooperatives in large numbers and uplift their living standards.
Moraa advised Sacco members to patronize the products in their Saccos to enable the Saccos offer them quality services.
She further urged them to save to enable them qualify for bigger.
“Many people have managed to accomplish their personal development projects through loans from their Saccos,” she pointed out, further asking members to repay loans promptly for others to benefit.
