Digital Sacco is looking to fill 10 positions for individuals with accounting backgrounds for a brief assignment.
Through an advertisement on its official Facebook page, the Sacco noted that it is specifically targeting individuals with at least a CPA I certification and who own a laptop.
Interested applicants are requested to submit their applications to hr@digitalsacco.com or info@digitalsacco.com by December 8.
Unlike traditional brick-and-mortar institutions, Digital Sacco aims to empower every Kenyan citizen, regardless of their location, by providing them with the opportunity to save and access credit facilities at affordable rates through a mobile platform.
The founders of Digital Sacco, Dennis Makori and Andrew Mbuya, who are also the directors of Onfon Media Group Ltd., came up with the idea of a cooperative that would embrace technological advancements to support and facilitate this initiative. As a result, Digital Sacco Ltd. was established.
The organization’s vision is to mobilize funds and increase savings and investments for the benefit of its members and their families, ultimately improving their socio-economic welfare.
They achieve this by facilitating savings and affordable credit efficiently and transparently, empowering members to take control of their finances and achieve economic prosperity through the use of digital tools.
“Our goal is to become a regional leader in delivering excellent services, enabling our members to achieve economic independence and prosperity on a digital platform,” Mbuya states.
Digital Sacco offers various short-term and long-term loan products, including Jipange loans, Emergency loans, Student/Jisort loans, School fee loans, Biashara loans, Development loans and Investment loans.
All their services can be accessed online or by dialing the USSD code *847#.
