Taqwa Sacco, which provides Sharia Compliant financial services and solutions to meet the diverse needs of its members, a service open to all Kenyans irrespective of their religion, race and gender has officially launched a Front Office Services Activity (FOSA).
The launch that was presided over by Cabinet Secretary (CS) for the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Co-operatives, Adan Mohamed also saw unveiling of a Logo on rebranding of Taqwa Sacco Society Ltd.
The high profile launch was also attended by Co-operatives Principal Secretary (PS) Ali Noor Ismail and Taqwa Sacco chairman Ahmed Yusuf among others.
The launch marked an important milestone in the growth of this pioneer Shariah compliant Sacco. The Sacco will now be able to offer and roll out additional services such as salary processing, savings and current accounts, Automated Teller Machine (ATM) services, mobile banking and money transfer among many diverse and innovative credit products.
The Taqwa Board of Management includes Ahmed Hussein Ahmed as Vice-Chairman, Ahmed Mohamed as Secretary and Zaituni Issa as Treasurer among other officials.
