Kajiado County Governor Joseph Ole Lenku has said there will be no excessive force and harassment of business people by county inspectorate officers.
This is after he graced the pass out of two hundred inspectorate officers who had undergone a rigorous training at Kasarani Stadium which is managed by Sports Kenya.
They were trained on several areas of their mandate that include safeguarding the human rights and dignity of residents, county laws and regulations, public relations and image protection of the Government among others.

Lenku asked the officers to enhance their working relationship with the people they serve who he said are their employers.
The Governor assurance comes amid complaints from business people about high business permits fees in the county.
There have been several cases of the enforcement officers harassing business people especially those who do not pay taxes.
The county residents have been demanding the administration to reduce the rates by implementing what is passed during public participation meetings especially on business permits fees.
