Mombasa residents have been urged to join Saccos and earn savings that will uplift their living standards.
Speaking in Mombasa, the area County Cooperative Commissioner Nelson Nyoro said residents should join the cooperative movement because it plays an important role in development.
“Joining Saccos is the surest way to change your lives for the better,” Mr. Nyoro told county residents.
Nyoro asked residents in the county to join Saccos in large numbers in order to uplift their living standards.
He however said financial services were adversely affected by Covid-19 pandemic across the country.
