Ollin Sacco fraternity is in mourning following the demise of their beloved Chairman, Director Geoffrey Njoka Njeru.
Until his demise, which occurred on September 7, 2023, Njoka also served as the Principal Head Teacher of Rwambiti School in Kirinyaga County.
He will be laid to rest on Friday, September 15, 2023 at his family home in Mbiru-ini farm. The funeral service will be held at General Kassam Stadium, Kianyaga Town.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence at Kianyaga town, opposite Omo Building and adjacent to General Kassam Stadium from 3.00pm for burial preparations.
The deceased is survived by his wife Peninah Wambura and his son David Njeru.
He leaves behind a rich legacy of driving Ollin Sacco, formerly Muhigia Sacco, to great financial growth.
Today, the Sacco membership stands at over 25, 000. It has an asset base of more than Ksh6.02 billion, making it one of the largest deposit-taking Saccos in Kenya.
The Sacco draws membership from primary school teachers, post-primary school teachers, secondary school teachers, Teachers Service Commission, retired teachers, civil servants, private institutions and the business community.
Ollin Sacco is headquartered in Kerugoya town and has branches in Mwea, Kitengela, Kiserian, Kimana Loitoktok, Kianyaga, Narok and Thika.
