The Government will now make use of the Sacco Review as its main channel of communicating and articulating the Co-operative sector’s policies to the wider Kenyan public.
Principal Secretary (PS) in the State Department of Co-operative, Mr. Ali Noor Ismail, noted that Sacco Review was the most popular newspaper within the Cooperative sector in the country.
“I was at Mwalimu National AGM and realized most members were reading Sacco Review. It’s a popular paper in the Co-operative sector and we are going to use it as our official communication channel,” said the PS.
He said the fact that Sacco Review was not affiliated to any Sacco, Co-operative or NACOs make it a neutral means of communication for the sector which currently is serving 14 million Kenyans.
