Uasin Gishu County Executive Committee Member (CEC) in Charge of Trade, Industrialization, Cooperative and Enterprise Development Esther Mutai has challenged Saccos across the county to embrace marketing through the use various communication channels.
The channels, she said include social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.
“Delegates and members should use their social media platforms and or create groups where members can be reached in a bid to market the Saccos,” noted Mutai. She commended The Noble Sacco Society Limited for its exemplary performance in loan disbursement to members amounting to over a Sh1 billion.
Speaking during the Sacco’s 38th Annual Delegates Meeting held at Uasin Gishu Primary School hall, she said reaching a billion mark is not a joke.

I congratulate the Board of directors and delegates for their exemplary performance in loans portfolio and Membership. I call upon the Sacco management to go extra mile to recruitment new members to the Sacco”, said the CEC.
Mutai further congratulated the Sacco for embracing technology through the introduction of ‘M-noble’ M-sacco saying this will attract more members.
“The County Government appreciates the role Saccos play in our county and that is why Governor Jackson Mandago specifically created a Ministry meant for Co-operatives”, she added.
The Noble Sacco Society Limited is one of the leading county Sacco based in Eldoret town of Uasin Gishu County that has continued to post impressive results by reaching the Sh1 billion mark in terms of deposits.
