Safaricom Investment Co-operative, in a move to expand its footprints across the country, has launched its 158th land project in Eldoret project.

The 30- acre project dubbed ‘Adelaide Creek’ consists of quarter-acre projects priced at KSh2.5 million with amenities such as graded murram roads, a chain-like fence, and readily available electricity and water connections.

SIC, which has successfully delivered projects in 14 counties, as well as housing projects in Nairobi, Kiambu and Machakos counties is building on its track record to deliver quality projects to investors.

Eldoret is one of the fast-growing towns in Kenya at a rate of about 5.1 per cent to 5.2 per annum in comparison to the national average of about 3.7 per cent. In 2023, Eldoret Municipality was conferred its status as Kenya’s fifth city after reaching the investment attraction phase in its historic journey. The city is the gateway to the northern transit corridor and the East Africa Community.

“Our 2022-2026 strategic plan is anchored on delivering superior returns to our investors and we are happy to expand our projects portfolio through this launch. As a company, we strive to transform the economic and social well-being of our investors through prudent, sustainable, and responsible investment decisions anchored on financial growth and sustainability,” said Safaricom Investment Co-operative CEO Churchill Winstones.

“As a company, we strive to transform the economic and social well-being of our investors through prudent, sustainable, and responsible investment decisions anchored on financial growth and sustainability,” he added.

Julius Rutto, Kesses Member of Parliament was present at the event and appreciated SIC for choosing Eldoret as one of their investment locations and noted that the launch was very timely.

“On behalf of the leadership of this area, I take this opportunity to welcome Safaricom Investment Co-operative to Eldoret. No one can ever go wrong with investing in land and in real estate as a whole. Embracing investment opportunities such as what Safaricom Investment Co-operative has brought to our doorstep would be one of the best decisions that my people can make.  It is also important to note that construction of the highway from the Eldoret International Airport to Moiben area has already commenced. Adelaide Creek is strategically located along that route, thus its attractiveness,” said Rutto.

Adelaide is located along the Eldoret-Iten road, less than 10 kilometres from Eldoret town, providing easy access to major transportation routes. It also borders institutions such as the University of Eldoret and the Sololo Agriculture Flower Farm. It presents an unprecedented opportunity for investors seeking to capitalize on the remarkable potential of Eldoret City and the rapidly expanding community.
