The fight over a storey building-Sonyaco Plaza in Homa Bay town has escalated after two splinter groups renewed their acrimony over its management.
The building is owned by members of Southern Nyanza Co-operative Society (Sonyaco).
Trouble started in 1993 when the Sacco administration collapsed leaving members of Sonyaco Saving and Credit Co-operative and Sonyaco Housing Co-operative fighting over the management of the building for over 25 years.
