Women and youth in Kilifi County have been advised to pay their Uwezo Fund loans promptly so as to enable others to benefit from the same loan products.
Speaking to Sacco Review in an interview at her office recently, Kilifi County Director of Youth Development Ministry, Faith Waweru, decried the slow pace in which women and youth in the region pay their loans.
She lamented that many of the creditors in the county are reluctant in repaying their loans which they took from the government.
“Uwezo Fund is a revolving fund, therefore requires to be paid in good time so that others can benefit it,” she said.
