Kitui Women Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited has embarked on a process to mobilise cheap capital for members to enable them start development projects through appropriate researched products supported by skilled human resource.
Chief Executive Officer, Elias Waki said the core values of the society remains integrity, accountability, transparency, democracy, equity, equality and solidarity.
The society, he added has managed to recruit 526 women and 57 men as individual members and 60 registered social groups under the Social Services Department. The society was founded by women from Kitui West and Kitui Rural Constituencies.
The society was formed in August 2013 and registered with the Cooperative and Marketing Development Ministry on November 12, 2013.
