Driftwood Cooperative Society in Malindi Sub County in Kilifi County has elected new chairman, Franklin Charo Nyiro to head the society.
Speaking to Sacco Review in his office in Malindi town recently, Driftwood Cooperative society Secretary, Onesmus Nzai said that the new chairman was elected during an Annual General Meeting conducted recently and supervised by the Cooperative Development Ministry officials.

Nyiro , who has replaced the former society chairman, Rimba Chigiri Mwafumba was an an ordinary member before being elected for the position.
As he assumes the office, Nyiro has pledged to cooperate fully with the Board of directors and members in order to push the society to the next level of development.
