Yetu DT Sacco has turned 35, marking more than three decades of growth built around its members, staff, partners and the wider community.
The Sacco used the anniversary to reflect on its journey from humble beginnings and the milestones that have shaped the institution over the past 35 years.
Unlike a typical birthday celebration, the milestone offers Yetu DT Sacco an opportunity to look back at how the cooperative has evolved while preparing for another chapter of growth.
The Sacco attributed its progress to the continued support of its members and the contribution of employees, partners and the communities in which it operates.

The anniversary is being marked under the theme “35 Years of Growing Together,” capturing the cooperative principle at the heart of Yetu DT Sacco’s journey.
For a Sacco, 35 years represents more than longevity. It reflects generations of members using the cooperative model to save, access financial services and pursue their economic goals.
As Yetu DT Sacco begins its 36th year, the anniversary shifts attention from where the institution started to what the next chapter will look like, with the Sacco signalling its intention to build on the foundation established over three and a half decades.
