Caritas Microfinance Bank opens branch in Nakuru City

Caritas Microfinance Bank has opened a new branch in Nakuru City in a colorful ceremony attended by Nakuru Deputy Governor David Kones and Nakuru Catholic Diocese Bishop Cleophas Oseso of Nakuru Catholic Diocese.

The deputy governor said the County government of Nakuru will continue to create a conducive environment to attract more investors especially financial institutions to provide more services to Nakuru residents.

Kones said they have witnessed many financial institutions like Banks and Microfinance institutions and Sacco which have opened their branches in the City and they are ready to cooperate with them for the benefit of electorates.

He said that the county population is increasing a boost for financial institutions in the City.

Kones, who was accompanied by Nakuru County Trade, Tourism and Cooperative CEC Stephane Kuria, urged business people in the City and farmers to use the available institutions to boost their financial status.

He said that financial institutions should be used as a tool of economic development in all sectors including farming and business.

On his side bishop Oseso said God is happy with hard working people as he urged residents of Nakuru City to work hard for them to prosper.

“Use your work to climb from one level of economic prosperity to another”, said the Clergy.

The new branch is located opposite Nakuru KFA offices.

Nakuru City has attracted a number of financial institutions in recent years.

The event was also attended by KUPPET Officials from Nakuru County and Nyandarua County.
