Deputy Governor Wesley Rotich of Elgeyo Marakwet County is one of the personalities in the co-operative movement who has joined politics.
Rotich served in the County Department of Tourism, Trade, Co-operatives and Energy as a Director incharge of Co-operatives.
He is credited with initiating a revival plan of dormant Co-operative Societies in Elgeyo Marakwet which includes the ongoing automation of their operations.
