The Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) Dairy Research Centre, Msabaha, is set to host a Field Day on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at its Msabaha Centre in Kilifi County.
The event, themed “Scaling Up Climate-Smart Fodder Technologies for Enhanced Livelihoods of Smallholder Farmers,” aims to promote innovative dairy and fodder production technologies that enhance productivity and resilience among smallholder farmers.
According to KALRO, the interactive field day will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about climate-smart fodder production, dairy management innovations, livestock nutrition, breeding, and feed formulation.

The event will also feature exhibitions, live demonstrations, and interactive sessions where farmers and stakeholders can engage directly with KALRO researchers, agricultural extension officers, and industry experts.
KALRO officials said the field day seeks to strengthen collaboration between researchers, farmers, and development partners in advancing climate-resilient dairy farming and improving livelihoods through innovation and technology adoption.
All farmers, partners, and agricultural stakeholders have been invited to attend and participate in the one day event.
