The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) is representing Kenya at the World Circular Economy Forum 2026 in Gandhinagar, India, as global businesses and policymakers explore ways to scale resource-efficient economic models.
KEPSA is represented by Dr Kinyanjui J. Koimbori, Head of KEPSA Consult and Senior Circular Economy and Climate Change Coordinator.
The 10th edition of the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) is being held in Gandhinagar from September 15 to 18, 2026, under the theme “Circular Economy: Transition for People and Prosperity.” The forum is bringing together governments, businesses, researchers and innovators to examine circular solutions for production, consumption, waste and resource management.
The agenda goes beyond waste management, with sessions examining circular finance, private capital, AI, sustainable products, industrial solutions, employment and new business models. More than 2,000 stakeholders from over 65 countries are expected to participate, alongside an exhibition featuring more than 125 circular economy solutions.

For Kenya’s private sector, the forum provides an international platform to engage with emerging approaches to resource efficiency, climate action and circular business models, areas that are increasingly linked to investment, competitiveness and sustainable growth.
The Gandhinagar forum is the first WCEF edition to be held in South Asia and is hosted jointly by India’s Central Pollution Control Board and Finland’s innovation fund Sitra.
