Mwito Deposit Taking Sacco Society Limited is grieving the loss of its founding member Peter Kariuki Ng’ang’a, which occurred on August 19, 2023.
The burial will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 9.00 am at his home in Kariua Village, Kandara Sub-County, Murang’a County.
The deceased has seen the Society grow from a humble beginning to the current membership of 8, 104 with a loan portfolio of Ksh2.191 billion and an asset base of Ksh2.654 billion.
Since its inception in 1979 under the Co-operatives Societies Act Cap 490 Laws of Kenya as a limited liability society, Mwito Sacco has been promoting savings and providing affordable, diversified and timely credit facilities amongst its members.
The Sacco has grown to become a leading financial partner in the country with a growing membership, dynamic products, and steady dividends.
Under Chief Executive Officer George Mugambi and Chairperson Margaret Nyabwari, Mwito Sacco envisions being a world class financial service provider to their customers through the Back Office Service Activities (BOSA) and Front Office Savings Activity (FOSA) services it provides.
