Qwetu Sacco to construct own offices in Voi, Mwatate

By Staff Reporter

Qwetu Sacco will soon construct new offices in Voi and Mwatate towns in a bid to boost service delivery to its members.
According to Sacco Board Chairman, Alfred Mlolwa, the Society has since acquired a title deed for the Voi plot and has also identified a suitable plot in Mwatate for purposes of putting up an office block.
The Sacco plans to spend Sh 35 million and KSh.1.3 million for the Voi and Mwatate offices respectively and this move will make it cut down on funds used in renting office space.
Qwetu Sacco has branches in Voi, Mwatate, Taveta and Wundanyi and plans are underway to open a new branch in Mombasa so as to reach out to more members.
“We have already done a feasibility study on the Mombasa office and results show that there is demand for our services in the town,” stated Mlolwa.
