Railway Housing Co-Operative Society Ltd (RAHOSO) has requested the buyers of the land in Utawala area, Embakasi to visit the society’s offices to obtain title deeds.
The property, Land Reference Number 7340/70 has been sub-divided into 73 plots. The plots have been further sub-divided and sold to different buyers.
Through a notice in a local daily newspaper, the buyers are required to visit society’s offices with a number of documents.
“The buyers of the sub-divided sub-plots are hereby notified to avail themselves at our offices with the following to facilitate transfers; a copy of the duly signed Sale Agreement for the respective plot(s) bought by the buyer and proof of the full purchase price and an official receipt(s) issued by the RAHOSO,” reads part of the notice, dated April 25, 2024 and signed by society’s Chairman Francis Waweru.

Other documents that the buyers should carry include a copy of buyer(s) PIN Certificate, a copy of buyer (s) National Identity card and three coloured passport size photos of the buyer of each plot.
Then after fulfilling the above requirements the notice adds, “The RAHOSO will go ahead and transfer the Titles of the sub-plots to the respective buyers upon payment of conveyance fee.
Notably, failure to provide to fulfill the above requirements in the next 45 days will force the society to take the appropriate action.
“Further note that failure to provide the requested documents and upon expiry of 45 days from the date of this notice, the registered proprietor of all property known as Land Reference Number 7340/70, will deal as it sees fit with any unclaimed sub-plots,” the notice adds.
