Stima Sacco has launched a new branch in Kisii town.
Speaking during the launch, Sacco CEO Dr Gamaliel Hassan revealed that the friendly Sacco aims to grow and positively impact the lives of its clients.
He added that Kisii is the third branch to be opened by his financial organization this year after Meru and Nairobi branches and thanked the county government of Kisii for the good reception.
He urged residents to visit their offices situated at Mocha building along the Kisii Migori road opposite Nubia Mosque.
He revealed that the Sacco will soon launch mobile services to take services near to their clients.
Kisii County Deputy Governor Onsare Monda, who represented governor Simba Arati at the event, assured investors of the friendly business environment in the region that fosters prosperity.
The deputy governor said that the county has big learning institutions like Kisii University and Kisii National Polytechnic which will give the Sacco a ready financial market.
He promised to mobilise area residents to register as members in the Sacco to qualify for affordable loans for development.
“The county government will closely work with the Sacco to boost the social and economic development for the electorate,” he said, adding that apart from the provision of affordable financial services, the Sacco will also create employment opportunities for the locals.
