Unison Sacco, a leading Tier One Deposit-Taking Savings and Credit Cooperative, is seeking to hire nine clerks, one internal audit clerk, and two call center officers.

The nine clerk officers will be deployed to perform as Teller/Customer care officer/Loan assistant/Marketing officer.

The minimum qualifications for these positions include; a Diploma in Management, Co-operative Studies, Marketing, Finance, or Accounting, proficiency in computer operations and applications, a comprehensive understanding of Sacco Societies’ products and services, familiarity with the operating environment, and at least 22 years of age. Previous experience will be considered an advantage.

The minimum qualifications for the Internal Audit Clerk position are as follows: a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce Accounting or a related business field (CISA certification is a plus), full qualification as an accountant under the Accountants Act (CPA (K), ACCA).

One should also have at least one year of experience in a dynamic organization, proficiency in computer applications, particularly accounting software, familiarity with various Sacco software systems is advantageous, and a solid understanding of government and stakeholder regulations.

The two call centre officers will be stationed at the head office located in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, and will report to the marketing manager.

The lucky candidates will have several responsibilities including; attending to clients, telephone, interview clients, verify information, determine eligibility by comparing client information to SACCO requirements, inform clients by explaining procedures, answer questions, provide relevant information, recruit member and activate dormant members’ accounts.

They will also represent SACCO competently and adequately in his/her capacity, respond to emails and social media enquiries, log and track customer/member queries, perform other lawful duties as may be assigned by management.

The basic qualifications for call center officers are: a diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication, or Journalism (graduated no earlier than 2019), proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with Sacco Societies’ products, services, and operational environment, prior experience is advantageous, and candidates must be at least 22 years old.

The terms of service for all nine clerks, one internal audit clerk, and two call center officers is one year with the option of renewing the contract.
