Wananchi Sacco has come up with new strategies to curb any possible spread of the Coronavirus disease among its members and the community at large.
The Sacco is investing in mobile banking to offer a wide range of services. Its M-Wananchi platform enables members to check balance inquiries, withdrawals, deposits, airtime purchase, mini statements, and SMS alerts.
The Sacco has also come up with cautionary products and services such Wananchi Soko Booster, an advance product that offers members access to affordable loans to improve their businesses.
Plans to have an agency banking platform are at an advanced stage to provide a wide range of avenues for their members to access their services and products closer.
