Coast co-ops urged to register for forthcoming Sacco African Congress

Cooperatives Development Senior Commissioner Churchill Amatha ushered into the Mombasa International Show

Cooperatives Development Senior Commissioner Churchill Amatha  has urged  Coast  region cooperative to  register in large  numbers  for the  forthcoming 24th Savings and Credit Cooperatives Associations (SACCA) Congress.

The congress which will take place from October 6 to 12 this year in Naivasha, Nakuru is jointly organized by the Kenya Union of Savings and Credit Cooperatives (KUSCCO), African Confederation of Cooperative Savings and Credit Associations (ACCOSCA), and Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs

Amatha who was speaking during Mombasa International Show said the event which is the largest annual financial cooperative event aims to unite the sector to explore opportunities, address challenges, and showcase cooperatives’ role in sustainable development.

Under the theme Cooperative model contributing towards UN Sustainable Development Goals, the congress will bring together experts and industry leaders from around the world to share knowledge and experiences.
