Member of Parliament for Lugari, Nabii Nabwera , has reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing coffee productivity and supporting local farmers.
Making his remarks during a consultative meeting with the Lugari Coffee Farmers Sacco at Nabemo Primary School, Hon. Nabwera outlined initiatives aimed at making coffee farming a more sustainable and lucrative enterprise in the region.
The MPs plan is leveraging networks to provide coffee farmers with advanced resources and training. These include smart farming techniques for producing premium-quality coffee, access to high-quality coffee seedlings, and the adoption of sustainable farming practices.
“Coffee farming is a vital driver of regional development and profitability. By embracing innovation and sustainability, Lugari farmers can achieve greater success and secure brighter futures,” said Hon. Nabwera.
