Agriculture and Livestock Development Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has been awarded the Distinguished Leadership in Public Service Award during the unveiling of the Brand Africa 100 Kenya’s Best Brands 2025 rankings in Nairobi.
Kagwe was recognized for his transformative contributions to public health, digital infrastructure, and nation branding. The CS’s award underscored the powerful connection between visionary leadership and brand excellence.

The event hosted by Abba Brand Africa, the Gina Din Foundation, and Capital Club East Africa gathered top industry leaders, policymakers, and media, reaffirming Africa’s dynamic role in shaping its global narrative, from governance to commerce.
Now in its 15th year, Brand Africa 100 remains the continent’s most authoritative consumer driven brand study, conducted across 31 nations representing 85% of Africa’s population and GDP.
This year’s unveiling spotlighted, The Top 100 Most Admired Brands in Africa, Generational brand preferences (Gen Z to Gen X), Brands elevating Africa’s global image and the inaugural Brand Africa Hall of Fame honorees.
