Migori County is gearing up to host this year’s Regional Agricultural Show, with thousands of visitors expected to attend the three-day event scheduled for September 25-27.
The Migori show is part of ASK’s mission to promote agricultural development and innovation through regional exhibitions,
The show will take place under the South West Kenya Branch, and shall be organized by the Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK).
The show is projected to attract over 20,000 attendees and 60 exhibitors across the region.
George Ongono, the Chairperson of the South west Kenya Branch and the Planning Committee Chairperson confirmed that preparations are in full swing. He said the event will feature exhibitions from a wide range of sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, banking, education, hospitality, and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

“This year’s theme is ‘Promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth’,” Ongono said, adding that the show will provide a platform for schools, farmers, and institutions to showcase their innovations and practical solutions.
He emphasized that the event is not just about farming but rather connecting communities, sharing knowledge, and exploring new opportunities in agribusiness and beyond. “Everything is set. We’re ready to welcome the public to a vibrant and informative show,” Ongono said.
