The Kenya National Police Deposit Taking (DT) Sacco fraternity is mourning the passing of Retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Johnson Kibor Korir, a former Director of the Sacco, who passed away on September 25, 2025.
Korir, remembered for his dedication to members’ welfare and strong leadership, played a key role in promoting financial growth and discipline within the Sacco during his tenure.
“In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you will be remembered forever. Your legacy lives on in the values you instilled,” read part of the condolence message.

A retired senior officer of the Kenya Police Service, Korir hailed from Kitoben Village, Olenguruone, Kuresoi Sub-county, in Nakuru County.
The burial will be held at his Olenguruone home on October 14, 2025.
