The Kenya Teachers SACCO Association (KETSA) is set to host its Annual CEOs Workshop 2026, bringing together leaders in the Savings and Credit Cooperative (Sacco) sector. The event aims to help them connect, exchange ideas, explore emerging opportunities and shape the future of cooperative finance.
The workshop is scheduled for September 7–11, 2026, at PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa in Mombasa. It will provide a platform for Sacco chief executive officers and other sector leaders to exchange ideas and share experiences on strengthening the movement.
Focus on innovation and impact
Themed “Innovation and Impact: Saccos as the Ultimate One-Stop Shop,” the event is expected to focus on how Saccos can expand their services. It will also explore innovative approaches to meet the changing financial needs of members.

According to KETSA, the workshop will give Sacco leaders an opportunity to connect, learn from one another and explore emerging opportunities. These, in turn, can enhance the performance and competitiveness of cooperative societies.
Shaping the sector’s future direction
The association is also positioning the event as a platform for conversations on the future direction of the Sacco movement. This comes as financial institutions face increasing pressure to embrace technology, improve service delivery and diversify their products.
Over five days, the workshop will bring together industry stakeholders to deliberate on strategies that can increase the impact of Saccos. It will also examine ways to strengthen their role in providing accessible financial services.
Consequently, KETSA has urged Sacco leaders and stakeholders to save the dates and participate in the discussions, which are expected to shape ideas and strategies for the sector’s growth.
